New American Writing: Spencer Reece & David Trinidad

Spencer Reece is the winner of the 2003 Katherine Backless Nason Prize for Poetry, selected by US poet laureate Louise Gluck. His poems have appeared in The New Yorker. David Trinidad’s books include Plasticville and Phoebe 2002: An Essay in Verse; his next book of poetry is entitled The Late Show. Trinidad teaches poetry at Columbia College Chicago, where he co-edits the journal Court Green

New American Writing

A series of contemporary fiction and poetry readings organized by Benjamin Weissman, author of two books of short fiction, most recently Headless, and professor of creative writing at Art Center College of Design and Otis College of Art and Design.
