Aperture West: Pieter Hugo

South African artist Pieter Hugo has been named the Standard Bank Young Artist for 2007, and won first prize in the Portraits section of the 2006 World Press Photo competition. Hugo’s work has been included in the traveling exhibition ReGeneration: Fifty Photographers of Tomorrow, as well as in Colors and Aperture magazines.
