Code of Conduct

The Hammer Museum is committed to maintaining an inclusive and welcoming environment for all visitors. We ask for your support by adhering to the following olicies:

Care for others and oneself: To keep our staff and all visitors safe, we have a zero-tolerance policy for individuals who engage in verbally abusive, harassing, discriminatory, or threatening behavior. Please adhere to instruction from staff and report any disturbances.

Care for the Art: In order to protect the art and Museum building for generations to come, food, drinks, pets, umbrellas, selfie sticks, and large bags are not allowed inside gallery spaces. Please keep a safe distance while enjoying the art, and check your items in our free coat Check.

Care in Common Areas: We encourage visitors to enjoy the galleries, the courtyard, Hammer Store, and other amenities. We reserve the right to ask a person already admitted or on the premises to leave for failure to comply with any Hammer Museum policies.
