Mingus, a parrot who prefers to stay indoors and bop to music, and Connor, a blue-crowned conure and outsider to the flock, are just two of the personalities in this colorful portrait of tropical parrots who live in San Francisco’s Telegraph Hill and the gently eccentric dreamer who tends to them.
