Filmed in part at the Hammer, Ruby Sparks is a new film by directors Jonathan Dayton and Valerie Faris (Little Miss Sunshine) starring Paul Dano as Calvin, a young novelist who achieved phenomenal success early in his career but is now struggling with both his writing and romantic life. He makes a breakthrough when he creates a character named Ruby who serves as his muse, but things start to get weird when Calvin finds Ruby (Zoe Kazan), in the flesh, sitting on his couch. ALL HAMMER PUBLIC PROGRAMS ARE FREE. Tickets for assigned seating in the Billy Wilder Theater are required and available at the Box Office one hour before each program. Early arrival is recommended. Tickets are available one per person on a first come, first served basis. As a benefit for their support, members enjoy priority ticketing and seat selection, subject to availability.
Parking is available under the museum for a flat fee of $3 after 6PM.
