Los Angeles-based painter Laura Owens received her MFA from California Institute of the Arts. Her work has been the subject of numerous solo exhibitions, most recently Sadie Coles HQ, London; Gavin Brown’s enterprise (620A), New York, NY; Works on Paper, ACME, Los Angeles, CA; and Studio Guenzani, Milan, Italy.
