Wadada Leo Smith's Silver Orchestra: Organic Resonance

  • to This is a past program
Wadada Leo Smith’s Silver Orchestra is an ensemble consisting of twelve creative improvisers. They will premiere three new works composed especially for this performance, Border Issues: Refugees and Immigrants, Pacifica, and Crossing on a Southern Road. The philosophical and spiritual inspiration for creating these works concerns the issues of borders and the growing reality of refugees and immigration in the world. Also to be performed are compositions from the CD Lake Biwa
