James Longenbach

James Longenbach has distinguished himself as a literary critic and poet. His five works of criticism include Modern Poetry after Modernism and The Resistance to Poetry. His volumes of poems are Threshold, Fleet River, and Draft of a Letter. He is Joseph Henry Gilmore Professor of English at the University of Rochester. 

Poetry is a series of readings organized by Stephen Yenser, poet and professor at UCLA and author of the forthcoming Blue Guide (Phoenix Poetry Series).
