Art Without Walls

Art can transcend barriers of all kinds. Kids ages 5 and up, teens, and grown-ups create art inspired by social justice issues, children’s literature, and Hammer exhibitions. Copresented by the Felipe de Neve Branch of the Los Angeles Public Library, this program occurs on two different days of the same weekend at the library and the museum. The same art-making activities occur at each site. The program at the Hammer Museum includes storytelling in the galleries. The program at the library is bilingual in Spanish and English.

Pop-Up Studio

Families explore art and create together in lively workshops led by artists. These drop-in programs are designed for ages 5 and up.

Gallery Games
