Arts Party is a free annual event for college students created by college students. Join us for an unforgettable evening with live music, art-making workshops, and after-hours access to the galleries! 

  • Music by Yves Tumor and DJ Pearce
  • Art-making workshops facilitated by L.A. Zine Fest, Self-Help Graphics & Art, and Hammer Student Educators
  • Seven exhibitions on view including Only the Young: Experimental Art in Korea, 1960s–1970s and Groove: Artists and Intaglio Prints, 1500 to Now
  • Taco Perro and LA Donut food trucks
  • Free Diddy Riese cookies (while supplies last)
  • Photo booth, swag, and cash bar

This event is for college students only! 

Members of the Hammer Student Association (HSA) are UCLA students from diverse disciplines and departments within the Hammer who create programs to connect university students with the museum. HSA’s mission for Arts Party is to make the museum an inclusive and accessible space for all college students.

Ticketing: RSVP does not guarantee entry if event reaches capacity. Admission is granted on a first-come, first-served basis.
Bags: Items larger than 12” x 6” x 12” (including purses, bags, and backpacks) will not be permitted. The museum also reserves the right to inspect or prohibit any items deemed to be a security risk.
