Charitable Contributions

The Hammer Museum is a non-profit institution that relies on the generosity of its members and donors to achieve its mission. Each year, the Museum presents a rich variety of engaging exhibitions and public programs, ranging from the historical to the cutting-edge, funded by its supporters. Contributions to the Museum’s annual fund or to specific exhibitions or public programs help ensure that the Hammer continues to be one of the most dynamic cultural institutions in Los Angeles.

The Hammer is a sound philanthropic investment. The nation’s premier independent charity evaluator, Charity Navigator, has given the Hammer its “seal of approval” for excellence in financial management. The Museum received four out of a possible four stars for its efficiency and capacity to sustain programs.

For more information on possible ways to support the Hammer, please contact Jennifer Wells Green, Director of Development, at 310-443-7008.
