Tadao Ando
Tadao Ando is the only architect to have won the discipline’s four most prestigious prizes: the Pritzker, Carlsberg, Praemium Imperiale, and Kyoto Prize. His award-winning designs can be seen throughout Japan, as well as in France, Italy, Spain, and the U.S. Taschen’s recently published comprehensive monograph of his work is entitled Ando’s Complete Works to Date 1975–2010. A book signing will precede the program, 6:30-7pm.
ALL HAMMER PUBLIC PROGRAMS ARE FREE. Tickets are required, and are available at the Billy Wilder Theater Box Office one hour prior to start time. Limit one ticket per person on a first come, first served basis. Hammer members receive priority seating, subject to availability. Reservations not accepted, RSVPs not required.
Parking is available under the museum for $3 after 6:00pm.
