The UCLA Film & Television Archive and the Hammer Museum have teamed up for a matinee screening series of new and classic family-friendly films from around the world. Funded by the UCLA Arts Initiative and co-presented with the UCLA Film & Television Archive. All films are appropriates for ages 6+.
CHITTY CHITTY BANG BANG
The beloved classic about the little car that could...fly! Based on a children’s book by Ian Flemming and adapted by Roald Dahl (Charlie and the Chocolate Factory) with director Ken Hughes, Chitty Chitty Bang Bang soars on all pistons as eccentric inventor Caractacus Potts and his children explore the wide, imaginative world in their very special touring car. ALL HAMMER PUBLIC PROGRAMS ARE FREE. Seating is on a first come, first served basis. Hammer members receive priority seating, subject to availability. Reservations not accepted, RSVPs not required.
Easy parking is available under the museum for $3 for 3 hours.
