Wallace Shawn & Bruce Wagner
Wallace Shawn & Bruce Wagner
Besides his career as one of America’s most beloved character actors in films from My Dinner with Andre, which he co-wrote, to Clueless, Wallace Shawn has a parallel career as a writer and playwright. His latest book, Essays, takes readers on a revelatory journey through high art, war, culture, politics, and privilege. Bruce Wagner is a novelist, screenwriter, and producer based in Los Angeles. He is the author of the novels The Chrysanthemum Palace, a PEN Faulkner fiction award finalist, and Still Holding; I'll Let You Go, a PEN USA fiction award finalist. Wagner currently produces and writes for the Emmy award-winning Showtime series “Tracey Ullman’s State of the Union.”
