Footnotes and Headlines: Sister Corita Panel Discussion
With Jim Isermann, Pae White, and Donald Moffett
Moderated by Independent Design Curator Brooke Hodge
A continued conversation about Corita Kent, the co-subject of Julie Ault's 2000 Hammer exhibition Power-Up: Sister Corita and Donald Moffett, Interlocking. Kent gained international fame during the 60s and 70s for her vibrant serigraphs, happenings, and gatherings put to the purpose of social awareness/activism. Artists Jim Isermann, Pae White and Donald Moffett discuss her work, legacy, and influence on the contemporary art scene.
