Family Flicks Film Series | Babes in Toyland

Family Flicks Film Series | Babes in Toyland

Recommended for ages 8+

Beloved comics Laurel & Hardy star in this whimsical fantasy, set in a magical land where Tom Thumb, Bo Peep, and the Three Little Pigs dance and sing outside Santa’s workshop. When dastardly Silas Barnaby tries to evict the Old Woman Who Lives in a Shoe, Stannie Dum and Ollie Dee use their wits and a battalion of wooden soldiers to set things right. A tuneful holiday treat for the whole family. (Dirs. Gus Meins and Charley Rogers, 1934. Run time 77 min.)

FAMILY FLICKS FILM SERIES The UCLA Film & Television Archive and the Hammer Museum have teamed up for a matinee screening series of new and classic family-friendly films from around the world.
