UCLA Art History Graduate Student Symposium: Translations
Translations, the 47th Annual UCLA Art History Graduate Student Association Symposium, provides a forum for emerging scholars to explore the idea of translation in visual art and culture. Jonathan Hay, the Alisa Mellon Bruce Professor of Fine Arts at the Institute of Fine Arts at NYU, will deliver the keynote address. The symposium will include papers by graduate students in various disciplines from across the country.
ALL HAMMER PUBLIC PROGRAMS ARE FREE. Hammer members receive priority seating, subject to availability. Reservations not accepted, RSVPs not required.
Parking is available under the museum for $3 for 3 hour.
The AHGSA Symposium is funded by the UCLA Department of Art History, UCLA Council on Arts and Architecture, UCLA Friends of Art History, and the UCLA Graduate Students Association.
