First-time director Alison Klayman gained unprecedented access to Ai while working as a journalist in China. Writer and art critic Danielle Shang will moderate a post-screening discussion with Christina Yu Yu, Ph.D. Assistant Curator, Chinese and Korean Art, LACMA and Hung Liu, Professor of Art, Mills College.
