L.A.’s exciting new homegrown collective Creative Underground LA presents two flagship ensembles, Slumgum and the Daniel Rosenboom Group. The two bands explore broad sonic terrain, from acoustic swinging jazz to atmospheric electric soundscapes and artful contemporary composition. Guest musicians include collective members Cathlene Pineda (piano), Brian Walsh (clarinets), Jose Gurria (drums), and many others.

JazzPOP returns to the Hammer courtyard in August with three free concerts featuring some of today’s most original and distinctive voices in West Coast jazz and improvised music. Curated by Lisa Mezzacappa.

ALL HAMMER PUBLIC PROGRAMS ARE FREE.
Parking is available under the museum for a flat fee of $3 after 6:00pm.
