Some Favorite Writers: A.M. Homes

A. M. Homes is the author of the memoir The Mistress’s Daughter and the novels This Book Will Change Your Life, Music for Torching, and The Safety of Objects. Her new novel, May We Be Forgiven, takes a darkly comic look at 21st-century domestic life. Homes lives in New York City.

This series of readings is organized by Mona Simpson, author of My Hollywood, Anywhere But Here, and Off Keck Road. Readings are followed by discussions with Simpson.


Location: Billy Wilder Theater
Ticketing: Tickets are required and available at the Box Office one hour before the program. General admission tickets are available one per person on a first come, first served basis following member ticketing. Early arrival is recommended.
HAMMER PLUS Benefit: Members receive priority ticketing (until 15 minutes before the program) by skipping the general admission line and can choose their seats, subject to availability.
Parking: Under the museum, $3 flat rate after 6 p.m. (cash only)
