 an downtown to Josh Kun's salute to the music of Boyle Heights at Grand Pe
 rformances on Bunker Hill. \n\n\n\nVisitors will receive free admission wi
 th the donation of books from the following categories: \n\n-Books about L
 os Angeles or by L.A. authors\n\n-High school or college syllabus paperbac
 ks\n\n-Farsi-language or Spanish-language books\n\n-First editions or adva
 nce reading copies of all sorts\n\n\n\nThe Hammer Museum’s Public Engage
 ment program seeks to create a new kind of interactive museum: an artist-d
 riven visitor engagement program that encourages contact among visitors\, 
 artists\, and Museum staff\, and activates spaces in imaginative ways.\n\n
 \n\nPublic Engagement and AIR were established in 2009 thanks to a James I
 rvine Foundation Arts Innovation Fund grant. Via AIR\, artists examine and
  respond to fundamental museum issues related to the visitor experience in
  an attempt to deepen the Hammer’s connection with its guests.\n\n\n\nLi
 bros Schmibros is a fiscally sponsored project of the Pasadena Arts Counci
 l’s EMERGE Program\n\n
