  Photography's Antiquarian Avant-Garde\n\n\n&#160\;\n\n\nArtist and photog
 rapher Stephen Berkman will present an evening of his work\, which employs
  antiquated photographic and optical processes. Berkman will also discuss 
 his quixotic art in the context of the early history of the photographic m
 edium\, including phenomenology\, spirit photography\, and the technical p
 rocesses used to achieve them. He presently resides on the faculty at the 
 Art Center College of Design.\n\n\n&#160\;\n\n\nALL HAMMER PUBLIC PROGRAMS
  ARE FREE. Tickets are required\, and are available at the Billy Wilder Th
 eater Box Office one hour prior to start time. Limit one ticket per person
  on a first come\, first served basis. Hammer members receive priority sea
 ting\, subject to availability. Reservations not accepted\, RSVPs not requ
