Matthea Harvey is the author of three books of poetry: Modern Life, 2007, a finalist for the National Book Critics Circle Award; Sad Little Breathing Machine, 2004; and Pity the Bathtub Its Forced Embrace of the Human Form, 2000. She is a contributing editor to jubilat, BOMB, and Meatpaper. She teaches poetry at Sarah Lawrence and
lives in Brooklyn.
