UCLA Department of Art Lectures | Thomas Lawson
Thomas Lawson is an artist with a diverse, project-driven output. His work has been shown at Metro Pictures, New York; Anthony Reynolds, London; and LA><ART, Los Angeles. Surveys of his work have been organized by the Museum of Contemporary Art, San Diego; the CCA, Glasgow; and the Battersea Arts Centre, London. He has written extensively for various publications, including Artforum, Flash Art, and Afterall. He is dean of the School of Art at CalArts.
UCLA DEPARTMENT OF ART LECTURES The UCLA Department of Art’s visiting lecture series is made possible through the generous support of the William D. Feldman Family Endowed Art Lecture Fund.
ALL HAMMER PUBLIC PROGRAMS ARE FREE. Assigned seating is available in the Billy Wilder Theater. Free tickets are required and available at the Box Office, one ticket per person on a first come, first served basis. Members enjoy priority seating and seat selection, subject to availability. Membership does not guarantee seating. Arrival at least one half hour prior to program time is recommended.
Parking is available under the museum for a flat fee of $3 after 6PM.
