DIY Holiday
DIY Holiday
In recent years, DIY Holiday workshop participants have had great fun inventing and celebrating holidays such as Cheese-a-Lot Day, Runaway Engineer Day, and Thomas Edison Inventors’ Day. With the help of filmmaker and graphic novelist James Ponsoldt, this year’s participants will write and film a heartwarming holiday special that reminds everyone what the holidays are really about, be that cheesiness, inventor appreciation, or presents. Ages 8–13.
The Hammer’s collaborative workshops, presented with 826LA, are designed for groups of up to 20 students. Reservations are encouraged. Contact workshops@826LA.org or call 310-305-8418. All workshops are appropriate for ages 8–13.
ALL HAMMER PUBLIC PROGRAMS ARE FREE. Seating is on a first come, first served basis. Hammer members receive priority seating, subject to availability. Reservations not accepted, RSVPs not required.
Parking is available under the museum for $3 for 3 hours.
Public programs are made possible, in part, by a major gift from Ann and Jerry Moss. Additional support is provided by Bronya and Andrew Galef, Good Works Foundation and Laura Donnelley, an anonymous donor, and the Hammer Programs Committee.
