In this enchanting fairy tale based on The Arabian Nights, a flying horse takes Prince Achmed on a magical adventure to faraway lands, where he befriends a witch, falls in love with a beautiful princess, and defeats a scheming sorcerer. Preceded by

Lotte Reiniger’s fanciful animated adaptation of Mozart’s opera The Magic Flute. (Germany, 1935, DIR: L. Reiniger, 16mm, b/w, 11 min.)

The UCLA Film & Television Archive and the Hammer Museum have teamed up for a matinee screening series of new and classic family-friendly films from around the world.

ALL HAMMER PUBLIC PROGRAMS ARE FREE. Assigned seating is available in the Billy Wilder Theater. Free tickets are required and available at the Box Office, one ticket per person on a first come, first served basis. Members enjoy priority seating and seat selection, subject to availability. Membership does not guarantee seating. Arrival at least one half hour prior to program time is recommended.

Parking is available under the museum for a flat fee of $3.
