Pablo Ferro has won over 70 international awards; his titles and montage sequences have appeared in 12 Academy Award winning films. Blending animation, design and documentary footage, PABLO tracks the rise of a poor Cuban immigrant to the heights of the Madison Avenue commercial industry, his presence in the New York counterculture of the 1960s, and the emergence of one of the most celebrated designers of movie history. Narrated by Jeff Bridges and featuring appearances by Ferro’s illustrious friends and collaborators (Angelica Huston, Stan Lee, Jon Voigt), the film celebrates the magic of creative spirit. Post-screening Q&A with Ferro, the filmmakers and special guests. Cash bar reception.(2012, Dir. R. Goldgewicht, 90 min.)
