Download it ahead of your visit, and look for a Bloomberg Connects icon near your favorite artwork to access special content. Don’t forget to bring your headphones.
Coat and Bag Check
The Hammer requires visitors to check items larger than 12” x 6” x 12” (including purses, bags, and backpacks) at the welcome desk. The Hammer may refuse to accept other items at its discretion and is not responsible for items held at coat check. Please remember to retrieve any checked items before you leave the museum.
Photography
The Hammer Museum welcomes visitors to take non‐flash, personal‐use photography except where noted. Share your images with us @hammer_museum / #hammermuseum on Twitter and Instagram.

Food and Drink

Food and drink is not permitted in the galleries or the Billy Wilder Theater.
Galleries
For the safety of the art, pens and markers are not permitted within the galleries. Pencils are available at the welcome desk.
As a courtesy to other museumgoers, cell phone conversations should be conducted outside of the galleries.
Attending a Public Program
Hammer public programs may be presented at the museum or online. Exhibition tours and Lunchtime Art Talks are held in-person at the museum. UCLA Film & Television Archive screenings are held in-person in the Hammer's Billy Wilder Theater.

Service Animals
Trained service animals are welcome in all spaces throughout the museum. We welcome other supervised and leashed domesticated animals only in the museum’s courtyard.
